We consider Dee to be the first dog who went through Second Chance Ranch Rescue’s rehabilitation, socialization, and adoption programs.

Dee lived in our home from 2016-2017 and was friends with our dogs. Dee lived with us for 10 months and we found him the perfect family. We worked so hard to find this family and he spent almost a year with them and sadly passed away from cancer. We honored Dee by building an outdoor playpen that we used for the first 3 years in our rescue operations. The pen was taken down in 2022 after we moved into the barn and put up our new, larger pen. Today we still remember Dee when we look out at the land.
